The Gathering on the Green

Started in the 1980s as a neighbourly community event, the Gathering on the Green is an annual free, fun day of activities and entertainment held on the first Saturday in June, rain or shine. It is run by volunteers and supported by the Old South Community Organization, local businesses, artists, and vendors.

Over the past 40 years, the Gathering on the Green has raised has more than $300,000 in funds which have been donated back into the community via projects and organizations in Old South.
